JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Showroom Supervisor to lead our team in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our showroom. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in store management, and a passion for the lighting sales industry. As the Showroom Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure that our showroom meets its sales targets while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in assistant manager in a retail environment, preferably within the lighting sales sector.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on team development and motivation.
• Familiarity with market trends related to lighting products is preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, problem-solving and willing to learn.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff at all levels.

• Supervise and lead a team of showroom staff, providing training and support to enhance performance.
• Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new team members.
• Monitor showroom activities to ensure customer service excellence is maintained.
• Address and resolve customer complaints.
• Maintain existing clientele base and working to develop new business.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing showroom environment that reflects current market trends.
• Ensure company and branch policies are followed by showroom staff.
• Schedule staff time to ensure adequate coverage during sales hours.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager on budgeting and financial planning for the showroom.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while fostering a positive work environment.
• Assist in product selection and setting up displays.
• Open and close the store.
