JOB SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Shrink Wrap Operator. You will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of shrink wrap machinery to ensure efficient and high-quality packaging of egg products on our Client in Listowel, ON. You’ll play a key role in maintaining production flow and meeting daily operational targets, while upholding company safety and quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS / CERTIFICATIONS

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment (asset, but not required)
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and push loads up to 60 lbs
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Able to work on your feet for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Operate shrink wrap machine efficiently, addressing alarms and resolving minor machine issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing shrink wrap rolls and keeping the machine area clean and free of hazards.
• Place packaged egg products onto the in-feed conveyor consistently to maintain workflow and meet production targets.
• Inspect carton codes, date stamps, and overall product quality to ensure all wrapped products meet company standards.
• Assemble products on pallets accurately, apply corner posts and tags, and assist with wrapping and moving completed pallets.
• Complete the Shrink Wrap Usage Log accurately and follow all required health and safety procedures.
• Rotate regularly between the roles of Infeed Operator, Pallet Assembler, and Third-Party Assistant to support overall production needs.
• Retrieve correct product from coolers or grading lines when needed and work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
