WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

DZ and shunt truck experience preferred.
DZ license required.
Forklift license required.
Seeking candidates who are interested in shunting trailers in the shipping yard.
Must be comfortable driving a shunt truck.
Must be comfortable hooking and unhooking trailers.
Comfortability with the movement of trailers and tankers to various locations around the yard/docks/bays.
Able to work with minimum supervision.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Able to speak, read and write English
Good comprehension skills.
·Must be willing and able to work shifts & overtime as needed.
Forklift license/certificate
2-3+ years of experience operating a forklift
Experience in a fast paced food manufacturing environment
Salary information: Starting at $24.54/hr; $0.8/hr afternoon shift premium, $1.10/hr night shift premium
Shift information: primarilyday shift with an ability to cover other shifts if needed
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $24.54 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Responsibilities
  • Operate a Shunt truck in company yard. moving trailers to shipping door or yard location.
  • able to hook and unhook trailers, back to dock and engage dock lock/chocks
  • able to complete paperwork and enter relevant accurate data into an ERP/truck schedule program
  • When not shunting you will operate a forklift to move product in the plant and warehouse.
  • Load and offload trucks.
  • Pull and stage loads for shipment.
  • Enter packaged products into ERP system for inventory control.
  • Set up and maintain all packaging materials for production lines.
