Our Opportunity Work Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.   Roster: 8D 6R FIFO ex Perth    This is a specialised role, and we are seeking an experienced Shutdown Coordinator who has both client and vendor experience within a large fixed plant environment.   As the Shutdown Coordinator, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendor partners to manage high volumes of maintenance tasks - from planning through to execution - ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of each shutdown campaign. The shutdown team works closely with other departments and the broader business to ensure plant reliability while maintaining a strong focus on safety and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities Demonstrate a strong safety commitment in line with Fortescue values. Plan shutdowns in line with the 16W planning rhythm, engaging asset owners, the planning department, and schedulers. Develop and manage resource requirements, including vendor partner engagement. Oversee vendor performance to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to schedule. Execute modular and major shutdowns with ownership and accountability. Drive continuous improvement initiatives between shutdowns. Qualifications and Experience Extensive experience in shutdowns and mechanical maintenance within a fixed plant processing facility. Proven ability to lead trade teams and coordinate across internal and external stakeholders. Strong understanding of production and maintenance strategies for large-scale operations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills. Trade qualification required; proficiency in Microsoft Office essential.
