Location: Taylor, BC (Local Position – Travel Provided from Hythe or Dawson Creek)
Position Type: Full-time, Temporary (Shutdown Project)
Wage/Salary Range: Competitive, based on experience
Shift Schedule: 6 days on, 1 day off
Hours Per Day: 10–12 hours per day

JOB OVERVIEW:

GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Shutdown Worker to join our Valued Clients team at a gas plant project in Taylor, BC. This is a local position with travel provided from Hythe or Dawson Creek. No LOA is provided. This temporary shutdown role is ideally suited to an individual who thrives in high-demand, safety-driven environments. Successful candidates will also be considered for upcoming shutdown projects, including tank cleaning, high-pressure washing, and general labour opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous shutdown, oil and gas, or industrial labour experience
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
  • Reliable transportation to Hythe or Dawson Creek pickup points

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in concrete work and foundation repair
  • Shutdown or turnaround certification training (e.g., CSTS, OSSA, H2S Alive)
  • Experience with high-pressure tank cleaning or sulfur removal processes
Responsibilities
  • Assist with concrete pouring and foundation repair during plant shutdown
  • Support sulfur removal processes and related site tasks
  • Perform general labour activities as directed by site supervisors
  • Participate in tank cleaning and high-pressure cleaning operations
  • Maintain strict adherence to site safety protocols and shutdown procedures
