We are currently seeking an experienced Shutdown Manager to join our Brisbane Operations team. The role will be responsible for the shutdown delivery portfolio across the Eastern Region..

Key responsibilities will include:

• Execution of the shutdown including progress tracking against schedule and budget
• Updates and shift reporting to the customer, identifying out of scope/break in works
• Leading workforce interfacing whilst managing HSE and QAQC requirements
• Overseeing permit and isolation requirements
• Managing customer expectations and leading a team of supervisors and workforce
• Responsible for the HSE standards and targets being met ensuring project safety
• Travelling throughout the eastern region (NSW, QLD & VIC)

What you will bring

• Proven experience in a similar role managing shutdowns in the resources sector
• Mechanical trade qualification or an engineering degree in a mechanical discipline
• Strong analytical skills (variations, proposals, business cases, financial analysis)
• Strong understanding in commercials, budgets/construction metrics, forecasting and change management (involving changes to scope, quantities and timeframes)
• Well-developed written communication skills
• Client relationship focused with previous business development experience
• An innovative approach to continuous improvement and successful delivery methods
• Demonstrated experience delivering safe and reliable construction service solutions and is committed to the safety, wellbeing and development of employees
• Ability to work on-site throughout the Eastern Region
