REQUIREMENTS:

· Qualified Carpenter with a minimum of 5 years experience in shuttering formwork
· Ability to manage efficiently and work under own supervision.
· Enthusiastic and responsive approach.
· Full, clean driver’s licence.
· Preferably with Manual Handling Certificate / Safe Pass

BUIDWRIGHT IS CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR THE ROLE OF A 1ST FIX SHUTTERING CARPENTER

This role will consist of setting up and dismantling shuttering formwork for wall panels, installing the necessary insulation and service runs within the walls and pouring the concrete.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Reading detailed formwork drawings (including location of window and doors openings, electrical conduits, wall insulation, etc.)
· Setting up and dismantling formwork
· Pouring concrete
· Signing off on all required checklists
· Assist our design team with technical queries
· Liaising with the production managers
· Working closely alongside our production team to make sure critical dates are met
· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
· Maintaining records
· Keeping up to date technically and applying new knowledge to the job
· Ensure work is carried out to the highest standard and in the interest of the company
· Ensure compliance with the company’s policies ensuring Health and Safety measures are complied with
· Observe and comply with all good working practices and housekeeping
