JOB DESCRIPTION – SHUTTERING CARPENTER

Position: Shuttering Carpenter
Location: [Dubai/Sharjah]

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a shuttering carpenter in construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Good knowledge of materials, tools, and carpentry techniques.
• Physical fitness and stamina to work in challenging site conditions.
• Teamwork and time-management skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical training or certification in carpentry is an advantage.

• Measure, cut, assemble, and join wood, plywood, and other materials for formwork and shuttering.
• Construct and dismantle formwork for concrete structures, including columns, beams, slabs, and walls.
• Ensure precise measurements and alignment as per engineering drawings and specifications.
• Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and work area to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with site engineers, supervisors, and other workers to meet project timelines.
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations at the construction site.
