Overview Shuttle Cart Driver provides safe, efficient, and friendly inter-campus transportation service to passengers, utilizing the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital shuttle cart system. This is an entry level role, previous job experience as a driver is ideal but not required. Valid Driver’s License required. Shift Monday - Thursday 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM Responsibilities Drive passengers to and from designated locations on campus in a safe and timely manner Provide courteous and professional customer service to passengers Ensure shuttle cart vehicle is clean and free of debris at all times Log accurate passenger counts each hour and report data as needed Report any shuttle cart maintenance issues to supervisor immediately Obey all traffic laws at all times Adhere to Cornerstone’s mission, core values, and cultural standards Benefits $14.00/hour PTO accrual Uniform provided Comprehensive, paid training Opportunities for advancement Requirements 18 years of age or older Valid driver's license, responsible driving record Previous driver experience Previous customer service experience High School diploma or equivalent High standard of integrity Possess a positive attitude, professional and courteous demeanor Remains open to others' ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things Able to read, write, comprehend, and converse in the English language Able to sit for extended periods of time (approximately 90% of the work day) Able to work in all weather conditions: heat, cold, rain, etc.
Responsibilities
Provide safe and efficient inter-campus transportation for passengers using a shuttle cart system. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, log passenger counts, and ensure professional customer service at all times.
