Do you have experience driving shuttles, buses, or rideshares? Then this is your position. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to; operating Eldora’s in-resort guest shuttles, general Parking responsibilities, maintaining company vehicles, snow removal and drainage control at shuttle stops, fleet maintenance, and helping other Eldora departments as needed/necessary. Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities: Drive guests safely through lots and answer guests and provide directions. Drive employees from the Nederland High School safely to the resort (CDL only). Assist in Parking duties as needed or during slow times. Must be able to sit and drive multiple hours a day. Must be able to work and drive in all-weather and road conditions. Maintain vehicles. Keep service logs daily. Drive guests safely through lots and answer guests and provide directions. Drive employees from the Nederland High School safely to the resort. Assist in Parking duties as needed or during slow times. Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment for self, coworkers, and guests. All employees are expected to support Eldora’s corporate responsibility commitment to protect the environment by participating in our Sustainable Transportation Program. This includes choosing alternative transportation, carpooling, using the employee shuttle, and avoiding onsite parking on weekends and peak days. These actions help reduce Scope 3 emissions, lead by example, and ensure adequate parking for our guests. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required by resort operations. Must be 18 years old or older to operate company vehicles. Driver’s license and the ability to pass MVR to company standards. CDL required. Physical Demands: Bending, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling & prolonged standing Eye/hand coordination & visual concentration on equipment Concentrated reading and writing Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs. Variation in temperature from hot to cold Must be able to sit and drive multiple hours a day. Must be able to work and drive in all-weather and road conditions. Schedule: Non-Peak Days (M-F): 7a-5p Peak Days (Sa/Sun/Holidays): 5:30a - 5:30p This schedule represents an average work week and is subject to change based on guest volume, operational needs, and weather conditions. Compensation & Benefits: The proposed hiring rate of $25+ for CDL endorsed drivers, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
