We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Shuttle Driver to join our team and ensure the smooth delivery of parts and products to our stores, while also assisting with order pulling and stocking tasks. Job Summary: As a Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for transporting parts and products between our central store location and various store locations. In addition to driving duties, you will assist with pulling and preparing orders for delivery and help stock shelves at our stores as needed. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Key Responsibilities: Transport Duties: - Safely operate company vehicles to transport parts and products between the central warehouse and store locations. - Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely delivery and pickup. - Inspect vehicle before and after each trip, ensuring it is in good working condition. - Maintain accurate delivery records and logs. Order Pulling and Preparation: - Receive and process orders from store locations. - Pull and prepare orders accurately according to store requirements. - Verify parts and products against order lists to ensure accuracy. Stocking and Inventory: - Assist with stocking shelves and organizing products at store locations. - Conduct inventory checks and report any discrepancies or shortages to management. - Ensure all products are stored and displayed according to company standards. Customer Service: - Provide excellent customer service while interacting with store personnel. - Address any delivery issues or concerns promptly and professionally. Compliance and Safety: - Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols. - Comply with local, state, and federal transportation regulations. - Handle products with care to prevent damage during transport and delivery. Requirements Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. - Familiarity with local routes and area geography. - Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 70 lbs.) and perform physical tasks. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Working Conditions: - This position involves frequent driving, physical activity, and lifting. - The role may require traveling and working in various weather conditions.
