Shuttle Driver  Location: Fayetteville, AR, 72703 Status: Part-Time | Non-Exempt (Hourly)   Position Summary   The Shuttle Driver provides safe, reliable transportation for residents of our Premier Retirement community at Butterfield Trail Village. This part-time position primarily involves evening meal shuttle service, special event shuttle service, filling in for medical appointment drivers when needed, and running errands. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety, comfort, and timely transportation of residents while adhering to all transportation policies.   Essential Responsibilities * Safely transport residents to scheduled appointments, errands, and community activities. * Assist residents entering and exiting the vehicle as needed. * Secure wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices. * Follow all traffic laws and community safety policies. * Perform basic vehicle inspections before and after trips. * Maintain transportation logs and communicate schedule updates with staff. * Keep vehicles clean, fueled, and ready for service. * Provide friendly, respectful customer service to residents and guests. * Respond calmly and appropriately to unexpected situations. Qualifications * Valid Arkansas driver’s license with a good driving record. * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Previous driving experience preferred. * Experience working with older adults is a plus. * Strong customer service and communication skills. * Ability to safely operate vans or small shuttle buses. Physical Requirements * Ability to assist residents entering and exiting vehicles. * Ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds occasionally. * Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
