If you’re passionate about quality, community, and making a lasting impact, we’d love to meet you. We are seeking a customer service oriented Shuttle Driver to join our growing team. The Shuttle Driver is responsible to ensure the safe transport of our property residents to and from public transportation hubs. This includes having close interaction with residents and the leasing staff with motivation to represent and maintain a first-class experience for everyone who lives at the community. The candidate chosen for the position will be placed at our luxurious property located in Belleville, NJ. Position Responsibilities: Operate passenger bus on dedicated fixed route. Perform work safely in accordance with company safety procedures, County requirements, and Department of Transportation(DOT) Ensures bus and passenger safety by enforcing rules of conduct and operation Utilize etiquette and professionalism during all customer interactions. Ensure that Pre/Post trip inspections are done daily. Check bus for lost items. Report those to the Leasing Office. Provides passengers with schedule and route information. Assists passengers needing help boarding and departing vehicle. Maintaining vehicle equipment; filling gas tank and getting car washes as needed. Maintain appropriate fluid levels in the bus. Maintain a clean bus. Promptly report maintenance issues. Promote a positive image of Russo Property Management at all times by wearing approved company uniform and fostering positive public relations. Requirements High School / GED education required. 2-4 years of commercial driving experience / passenger transport Must have a valid CDL drivers license. Must have a clean driving record and exceptional driving skills. Must have experience driving passengers. Customer service first attitude. Professional, courteous, and exception driving skills. Proactive self-starter and a team player. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

The Shuttle Driver is responsible for the safe transportation of property residents to and from public transportation hubs by operating a passenger bus on a dedicated fixed route. This includes performing daily pre/post-trip inspections, assisting passengers, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and fluid levels.
