Come join our team to be a part of this amazing opportunity!   Job Title: Shuttle Driver & Site Support Labourer Skeena Gold + Silver is seeking reliable and safety-focused Site Shuttle Bus Drivers to support the Eskay Creek Project. This is a hybrid role combining driving and labour responsibilities. Candidates must be willing to perform physical site support work daily when not driving. Drivers will work split shifts (morning and evening) to support increased operational demands during crew change days (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays). Role Expectations * This is not a driving-only position * Candidates should expect to perform daily labour tasks when not driving * Work is conducted in all weather conditions, including snow, mud, ice, and rain * Requires flexibility for split shifts and varying schedules * Includes luggage handling and logistics support on travel days * Typical workload is approximately 70% driving and 30% labour * Responsibilities may vary based on operational needs   Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Safe Transportation: * Operate buses of various sizes safely along designated routes * Transport personnel efficiently across site * Complete ad hoc or unscheduled shuttle runs as required Travel Day & Luggage Coordination: * Support crew change operations (Tuesday to Thursday) * Organize, load, unload, and deliver luggage to accommodations * Ensure efficient movement of personnel and materials Labour & Site Support: Snow Removal & Grounds Maintenance * Shovel walkways and maintain pedestrian paths * Clear entrances and exits safely * Maintain access to rig camps * Remove snow from buses and other vehicles General Site Support * Assist with waste collection and disposal * Support lodging operations with laundry, folding, and deep cleaning * Perform general camp clean-up and organization Logistics & Operations Support: * Assist with inventory and material organization * Clean and maintain storage areas * Perform general labour duties as assigned Safety & Compliance: * Assist with accommodation safety checks, including fire extinguishers * Follow all safety policies, procedures, and traffic regulations * Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections * Maintain vehicle cleanliness and operational readiness * Report incidents, hazards, and mechanical issues promptly Professional Conduct: * Maintain respectful and professional interactions at all times * Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment * Represent Skeena in a safe and professional manner Additional Duties: * Perform other duties as assigned.   The Ideal Candidate Education / Qualifications: * Valid Class 1 License with Air Brakes * Clean driver’s abstract with strong safety record * Ability to work split shifts + physical labour Experience / Skills * Clean driver’s abstract with a strong commitment to safety * Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience * Comfortable working split shifts and performing physically demanding tasks * Experience in remote or industrial environments is considered an asset * Physically capable of lifting, shoveling, and working outdoors in various conditions * Strong communication skills with a solid work ethic and team-oriented mindset   Work Location & Conditions This is a site-based camp job at Eskay Creek Mine site. This position involves working at a remote mine site on a 15 days on/13 days off rotation.      The Eskay Creek Revitalization Project is located within the Coast Mountains of Northwestern British Columbia and Tahltan Territory. Ground transportation will be provided from local communities to the Eskay Creek Site facilities. For those applicants located elsewhere in western Canada, flight transportation from major urban centers will be provided to the Terrace or Smithers airports, from which shuttles will provide transportation to the Eskay Creek Camp facilities. Travel time and expenses are subject to Skeena’s Travel Policy.     There will be exposure to extreme temperatures in all seasons including working outdoors in snow, mud, ice, and water conditions, walking to and from different locations on uneven ground, prolonged periods of standing and physically handling/lifting/moving heavy objects.         Compensation The expected hourly rate for this position is CAD $35, in line with the competitive job market for such roles carried out in British Columbia. Salary ranges are guidelines and any job offer received by a candidate will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant education, training, and/or experience.
