Description Burton Logistics Solutions is seeking candidates for the position of Shuttle driver Yard Jockey. Position is local driver position requiring switching of trailers and containers from the yard lot to a dock door or shuttling of trailers from warehouse to offsite warehouse. Full Time: 45-55 hours a week: 2nd shift position. Hours are 2:30pm - 11:30pm (Daily - Mon-Fri / Saturdays required periodically) Location: Kernersville NC 27284 Requirements CDL - Class A commercial driver license and valid DOT medical card. High School Diploma or GED. Ability to work under pressure and time management. 1 year of experience as a Driver / Shifter. Clean background check required. Must be available to work extra hours when needed - incl. weekends. Knowledge or applicable transportation regulations and laws. Must be able to drive a day cab or switcher truck with hydraulic fifth wheel. Must be able to work in all types of weather. Must be able to use bolt cutters to cut seals off trailers and open/close trailer doors. Move trailers to offsite lot locations.
