The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. As a Door Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with licensing legislation and company policies while providing excellent customer service.
Purpose of Role To provide a safe and secure environment for customers, staff, and property by managing entry, monitoring behaviour, and responding to incidents in a professional and customer friendly manner.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Understanding of licensing laws and venue entry policies
  • Experience in conflict management and customer service (preferred but not essential)
  • 5 year checkable work and address history ( BS7858)
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: £13.75-£15.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Control entry to the venue, ensuring customers meet age and entry requirements
  • Carry out ID checks in line with licensing and venue policy
  • Monitor customer behaviour inside and outside the venue to maintain a safe welcoming atmosphere
  • De-escalate situations using conflict management techniques
  • Respond to incidents, including removing individuals where necessary, in accordance with the law and SIA guidelines
  • Liaise with venue management and local authorities (police, licensing officers) as required
  • Keep accurate incident and refusal records
  • Conduct regular patrols of the venue and have a proactive approach to preventing issues within the venue
  • Provide customer assistance, including giving directions to local amenities and or travel
  • Ensure fire exits are kept clear and highlighted to the venue when not
