JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. This role requires strong surveillance skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents. The Door Supervisor will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a security role or as a Door Supervisor is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
  • Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment.
  • Valid first aid certification is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of people.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor the entrance and exit points to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.
  • Conduct regular surveillance of the venue using CCTV systems to detect any suspicious behaviour or activities.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property.
  • Enforce venue policies and procedures, ensuring that all patrons adhere to rules for a safe environment.
  • Provide first aid assistance when necessary, responding promptly to medical emergencies.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as required during incidents.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports documenting any occurrences or breaches of security protocols.
