OVERVIEW

The role of a Door Supervisor is crucial in maintaining safety and security within a venue. As a Door Supervisor, you will be part of a team who are responsible for overseeing the entrance and exit of patrons, ensuring compliance with licensing laws, and providing a safe environment for all guests. This position requires a vigilant individual with strong interpersonal skills who can effectively manage potential conflicts and uphold the venue’s standards.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in surveillance techniques to monitor activities effectively.
  • Knowledge of first aid practices to provide immediate assistance in emergencies.
  • Experience in loss prevention strategies to safeguard assets and minimise theft.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor the entrance and exit points to ensure only authorised individuals gain access to the premises.
  • Conduct regular surveillance of the venue to identify any suspicious behaviour or potential security threats.
  • Enforce venue policies and procedures, including age restrictions and capacity limits.
  • Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, guest interactions, and any actions taken during your shift.
  • Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying and addressing theft or misconduct within the venue.
  • Utilise CCTV systems effectively to monitor activities within the premises.
