JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Control Room Security Officer to join our team.
Computer knowledge highly beneficial.
Responding to Alarm Activations and sending appropriate vehicle to location to action, monitoring our team to ensure all duties are carried out.
Responding to emails from clients and internal staff emails
Allocating work to drivers and organising driver scheduling for staff this would include allocating new work to apps on phones.
Recording results of attendances at sites on our dedicated Apps and Programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a security role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during long shifts.
  • Knowledge of first aid practices is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • A valid security licence may be required depending on local regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

  • Operate and monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure the safety of the premises.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
  • Conduct regular inspections of property and facilities to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing appropriate measures.
  • Provide first aid assistance when required, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
  • Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and activities for management review.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns.
