OVERVIEW

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This position requires keen observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a security role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
  • Certification in first aid is desirable; candidates should be willing to undertake training if not already certified.
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies to safeguard property and assets from theft or damage.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid assistance when necessary.
  • Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any irregularities encountered during shifts.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as required during incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain a visible presence to deter potential criminal activity and reassure staff and visitors.
