JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SIA Security Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training programmes that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees. The Trainer will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of continuous learning within the organisation.

SKILLS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in planning and executing training sessions.
  • Proficiency in using various training tools and technologies, including e-learning platforms.
  • Ability to engage participants and create an interactive learning environment.
  • Experience in assessing learning outcomes and providing constructive feedback.
  • A background in instructional design or curriculum development is advantageous.
  • Patience and adaptability to cater to diverse learning styles within a group.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Holder of a Level 3 AET/ or equivalent
  • Holder of Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocational Achievement/ or equivalent
  • Holder of Level 2 Door Supervisor qualification or Level 3 Close Protection certificate
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement effective training programmes tailored to the needs of employees.
  • Conduct engaging training sessions using various instructional techniques, such as workshops, presentations, and hands-on activities.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training sessions through feedback and evaluations, making necessary adjustments to improve future programmes.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop relevant content.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in training and development.
  • Prepare training materials, including manuals, guides, and multimedia presentations.
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to employees post-training to ensure successful application of skills learned.
