The Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler is looking for a Sidecut Restaurant Supervisor who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. The Sidecut Restaurant Supervisor reports to the Restaurant. We are looking for an energetic, hospitality professional with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and have a passion for service and people. Applicants will be a willing team player, comfortable with computer systems including MICROS, OpenTable, and Golden and will be willing to accept assignments on an as-needed basis to promote teamwork. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays. The hourly rate range for this role is $24.65 - $26.65 What You Will Do Operational Leadership • Oversee daily front of house operations for all meal periods, ensuring seamless service flow. • Support the restaurant leader with daily operations, reporting, inventory control, and quality assurance. • Monitor food and beverage quality, accuracy, timing, and presentation. • Manage reservations, assist with PDR and group bookings to optimize guest experience and operational flow. • Actively participate in service, leading from the floor with presence and visibility. • Monitor guest feedback and take action to enhance service delivery. • Engage with guests, anticipate needs, and resolve concerns professionally. Team Supervision & Training • Supervise, motivate, and coach team members to deliver warm, attentive, and genuine service. • Train new employees and support ongoing development of the existing team. • Assist with delegation of tasks, and daily lineup communication. • Foster a supportive, collaborative, and positive team environment. • Lead pre-shift briefings, ensuring menu knowledge, safety updates, and service expectations are clear. What You Bring Experience & Skills • Previous 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a luxury hotel, premium restaurant, or high-volume hospitality environment is preferred. • Strong food, wine, and beverage knowledge. • Strong leadership abilities with a hands on, supportive approach. • Excellent communication skills and confidence working in a fast-paced setting. • A guest focused mindset with a passion for hospitality and service excellence. • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask under pressure. • A collaborative spirit with the ability to inspire and develop others. Schedule & Hours As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, we expect our service staff to be flexible in working mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights and holidays. • Approximate work hours per week will vary based on operational needs. • The outlet operates for dinner seven days a week.
