GRAPHIC DESIGN KNOWLEDGE

  • You have advanced knowledge of and demonstrated skill in the use of Adobe Creative Suite software related to graphic design
  • You know graphic design, drafting techniques, work procedures, pertinent classification of signs and principles of sign design, such as information, warning and guidance
  • You know and have demonstrated use of microcomputers and related graphic design and word processing software

PROBLEM SOLVING AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS

  • You can interpret and follow detailed instructions with the ability to be creative and innovative in developing design alternatives
  • You can design, implement, lead and manage a number of concurrent projects of varying degrees of complexity, individually and within a team environment

COMMUNICATION AND PRESENTATION SKILLS

  • You can provide advice and consultation to identify the needs of diverse users to maintain effective working relations
  • You can present materials to peers and senior management in a clear and concise manner
