Responsibilities

WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE UNIQUE

Hi Signs operates several distinct brands—like Banff Sign Co. and 310-SIGN—that all share one powerful engine: our production team. This position will work at the heart of that system, supporting both custom fabrication projects and high-volume signage manufacturing.
You’ll have variety in your day—from welding architectural components to assembling sign structures. No two days are the same—and that’s just how we like it.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FABRICATION & ASSEMBLY

  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders to fabricate custom sign structures.
  • Cut, bend, and form steel and aluminum using appropriate equipment (e.g., shear, brake, saws).
  • Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on aluminum and mild steel with strong, clean welds.
  • Grind, sand, and finish welds and edges to meet top-tier finish standards.
  • Assemble signage components precisely and with a high attention to aesthetics.
  • Take initiative to identify and resolve fabrication challenges early.
