DAW Signs is expanding fast, securing nationwide signage, retail, and commercial fit-out contracts, and increasing our in-house manufacturing capacity. To support this growth, we’re now looking to add a second skilled Sign Maker (Welding & Fabrication) to our production team.

• Fabricate sign structures and letterforms using MIG/TIG welding on aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel sections.
• Build and finish trays, frames, posts, and bespoke metalwork, ensuring every weld is neat, strong, and ready for powder-coating or paint.
• Interpret technical drawings and cutting lists, setting out jobs accurately and keeping scrap to a minimum.
• Operate workshop machinery (guillotine, press brake, rollers, pillar drill, grinders, etc.) safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with print, vinyl, and assembly colleagues so that every project flows smoothly through production to installation.
• Maintain a clean, organised welding bay and carry out daily/weekly equipment checks.
• Pitch in with wider sign-making tasks, occasional on-site fitting, basic fabrication for our Durst and Viewtech print departments, or assisting with final assembly when deadlines demand it.
