You will be responsible for the development and implementation of signal processing algorithms for innovative products. Through addressing system aspects you will get from component research to an operational working system that meets customer requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Expand research on signal and image processing. - Validate the developments on different (existing) datasets - Implement these innovative elements into real sonar imaging products - Specifying and participating in sea trials - Provide technical leadership for research projects and sonar software developments Technical skills Essential · Knowledge of signal & image processing · Knowledge of high-level physics · Knowledge of Matlab/Octave · Knowledge of C++ Desirable · Sonar systems · Radar systems · GPU coding · Experience in machine learning, predictive analytics, and big data analysis · Electronics · Work at sea Profile & Personal qualities · Master degree or PhD in acoustics/Engineering/Physics · Ability to work within and/or lead a project team · Aptitude for problem solving · Self-motivated · Strong communication and team work · Able to multi-task and prioritize workload · Passionate and curious about new technologies and development methods
