We are expanding our engineering team based in Copenhagen to work on European Rail & Metro projects. These would be permanent positions for candidates to be based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Signalling CBTC Design Manager to lead the design and integration of advanced railway signalling systems for high‑performance metro projects. Candidates will have the following experience: Strong experience in brownfield CBTC migration projects. Proven background in signalling and train control system design, ideally for driverless metros. Expertise in RAM, maintenance methodologies, and reliability modelling. Experience in control room and operator facilities design. Additional experience: Experience managing software development, testing, and integration processes using industry‑standard methodologies. Ability to use data analytics tools to optimize development workflows and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and integration of CBTC signalling solutions. Manage brownfield migrations from legacy systems to CBTC with minimal operational impact. Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of signalling and train control systems for driverless metro environments. Apply RAM engineering methods (FMEA, FTA, stochastic modelling) to optimize availability and maintenance strategies. Contribute to the design of control rooms and operational facilities. Qualifications You hold an engineering degree or a master’s degree and have extensive experience in a technical field, ideally within brownfield railway sector. Previous managerial experience would be an asset. You are fluent in English, which is essential for working in our international environment.
