As a Signalling Design Manager your impact will be in the management of the signalling design team across all phases of the project, providing technical services and acting as a subject matter expert for signalling design.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading the signalling design team across all phases of the project, from concept through to detailed design and handover.
• Ensuring designs comply with applicable railway standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Providing technical guidance, mentorship, and competency development for signalling engineers and designers.
• Reviewing and approving technical deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Coordinating and liaising with internal teams, contractors, and clients to facilitate design integration and resolution of technical issues.
• Working closely with the Project Managers to maintain project schedules, resource plans, and budgets for the signalling design function.
• Supporting project risk management by identifying design risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Contributing to business development and client engagement through technical expertise and market knowledge.
