Job Title: Silicon Test and validation EngineerLocation: Regensburg, GermanyDuration: 6-12months Contract

• Job Description:ATE test program development and release, calibration and cross-site correlation, data analysis and yield improvement, and scripting and automation.
• Lead full cycle of tester development against engineering requirement specifications. Take complete ownership of transferring metrology technologies from R&D to mass production
• Establish and perform tester alignment and calibration procedures and ensure testers are performing as intended and providing accurate data
• Work with engineering design team(s) to clarify/refine performance metric definition for test solution implementation
• Define, design and develop optical metrology solutions including hardware engineering, test software implementation, and instrument qualification
• Develop benchtop and production instrumentation to characterize complex optical modules and integrated systems (display and optics)
• Collect and perform statistical analysis on metrology data to correlate to performance metrics
• Explore novel optical metrology technologies and work with suppliers on prototype development
• Up to 30% domestic and international travel required

• Minimum Qualifications BS degree in Optical Engineering, Physics or a related technical discipline with 2+ years of experience or Advanced Degree in Optical Engineering, Physics
• Experience in ATE Equipment programming (e.g. Teradyne, Advantest)
• Hands-on experience in optical metrology development from concept to system validation
• Hands-on experience in optical metrology development from concept to system validation
• Experience in test automation (instrument control, data collection and analysis) using LabView, Matlab or Python
• Proficiency in statistical data analysis using Minitab or JMP
• Professional level proficiency in English
• Proficient communication and presentation skills
