We are currently seeking a Simulation Clinics Dental Assistant to support our academic and student community within our state-of-the-art simulation clinics at Sydney Dental Hospital and the Bligh Building Simulation Centre in Camperdown. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the learning journey of future dental professionals in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Your key responsibilities will be to: provide day-to-day technical and administrative support to students and academic staff in the simulation and laboratory clinics maintain a safe, clean, and functional simulation environment in alignment with teaching and learning objectives ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety standards and protocols under the guidance of the Clinical Skills and Simulation Co-ordinator so that the learning and teaching requirements of the work area are met provide excellent customer service and helps to build positive relationships with internal and external users of the clinical skills simulation clinics consistently demonstrates professionalism and respect to all students staff and colleagues check role-based account on regular basis to support the smooth operation of the scheduled classes. About you We’re looking for a proactive and team-oriented individual who brings: Certificate III in Dental Assisting and a minimum of two years’ relevant experience willingness to undertake further training to enhance skills and knowledge intermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel etc strong understanding of safety regulations and experience handling hazardous substances in a clinical or laboratory setting ability to work independently and collaboratively, exercising sound judgement and initiative exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and sometimes with limited supervision.
