Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Simulation Education Analyst in the Centre for Innovation in Medical Education. Responsibilities You will be responsible to: work with Faculty and the Education Analysts and Advisor, CIME to design and develop courses, workshops and programmes of learning to meet the needs of students and external clients assist in the day-to-day administration and operation of the Centre’s activities in teaching and learning, research and community engagement work effectively within project teams implementing pedagogies appropriate to the context disseminate information locally and participate in events to have a national impact utilize technological developments and innovations in support of faculty educational needs maintain currency of knowledge in clinical simulation techniques and identify redundant or obsolete methods of teaching and advise faculty accordingly contribute to audit of CIME facilities; educational research and evaluation of CIME courses. assist in the organization and delivery of events and workshops off-campus. undertake programmes of CPD as required undertake assignments in relation to Clinical Simulation in campuses across AKU contribute to Research Activities in CIME to improve educational performance and outcomes. Requirements You should have: a minimum of Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) minimum two years’ experience in professional role in similar capacity is preferred ability to work independently sound academic record and interest in teaching, learning, and research ability to lead and facilitate learning as part of a team excellent communication and interpersonal skills excellent organizational, information management and computer skills. Responsibilities
The analyst will collaborate with faculty and advisors to design and develop educational courses, workshops, and learning programs for students and external clients, while also assisting with the daily administration of the Centre's teaching, research, and community engagement activities.
