We are looking for a Simulation engineer FEM to join our team in Germany (Schweinfurt).

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or simulation engineering
  • First professional experience in calculation and simulation of electric motors and powertrains preferable
  • High degree of flexibility, resilience, and international willingness to travel
  • Analytical and independent way of working as well as a quick comprehension
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills in English & German
  • Strong teamwork orientation and intercultural skill
Responsibilities
  • Execution and coordination of complex static and dynamic FEM problem definitions of electric motor technology as well as operational strength assessments based on them
  • Creation and evaluation of simulation results, derivation and evaluation of improvement measures
  • Technical contact person for the project team and customers / suppliers
  • Creation, coordination and evaluation of requirement specifications / specifications / technical documentation
  • Participation in the further development of the calculation methodology and creation of calculation specifications
  • Planning of various test bench tests to validate the simulation results
