You will join our OPmobility, India Technical Centre Hinjewadi, Pune  ITC is part of OPmobility Exterior Business Group from where we cater engineering and technical services to customers globally. Currently employing 200+ talented professionals, we have strong plans to grow several folds in next 3-5 years. Job description Responsibility 1: Carrying out simulation studies  Respond to requests for simulation studies, in conjunction with PAE / TDE / CDE.  Consideration of the study request from the project group  Mesh if necessary - possibly subcontracted  Calculation of the model with reliable material properties  Processing of results  Writing of a summary, presentation to the PAE / TDE or project group concerned  Propose solutions allowing the product to achieve the targeted performance  Carry out these simulations in compliance with the QCD (Costs Quality Deadlines) of the project    Responsibility 2: Continuous improvement of calculation methodologies    Analysis of the needs of our internal customers and OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer)    Definition of methodological guidelines    Development of a parameterized and debugging solution, potentially with technical support for the application concerned and / or documentation available as part of R&I (Research and Innovation) methodology improvements.   Optimization of tasks by developing suitable scripts   Verification of correlations with physical results   Sharing with the community of experts  Deployment    Responsibility 3: Consolidate methodologies  Conduct correlation studies with internal / external testing laboratory  Discuss with the research center on non-compliant / low correlation results  Participate in the creation / review of STS (Simulation Technical Specifications) documents   Promote the use of One click modules    Responsibility 4: Development of expertise and technology watch   Presentation of studies or methodology to OEM customers and demonstrate POAI know-how  Exchange with calculation engineers at customers and POAE  Follow the development of calculation codes and judge possible applications on our products   Participate in simulation synergies and discuss best practices   Participate in the Design Guidelines reviews                   
Responsibilities
The Simulation Engineer will carry out simulation studies, respond to requests, and propose solutions to achieve targeted performance. Additionally, they will focus on continuous improvement of methodologies and consolidate practices through correlation studies and technical specifications.
