Within Simulation, we have a Global Centre of Excellence team, providing technical services since 1980 and supporting our strategic channel partnership with Ansys-recognised as the largest, most popular simulation software product range in the world. Through our simulation products and services we help our customers digitally transform how they design products – from electric vehicles and wind turbines to medical devices and pharmaceutical clean rooms.
We both supply Ansys and provide extensive consulting services to support customer objectives and strengthen their inhouse capabilities. We also deliver a wide range of simulation theory and software-based training courses to educate the next generation of engineers and reinforce best practice in industry.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As we continue to grow in the Nordics, we are looking for an experienced and consultative Simulation Sales Representative to join our team. You will focus on the Ansys simulation portfolio, supporting our most complex and innovative customer accounts across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland, as they navigate digital transformation and product development.
You will engage with engineering, innovation, and executive stakeholders across some of the most forward-thinking companies in the region. Your role will be to uncover business-critical challenges and position Ansys simulation solutions - including Material Intelligence, Mechanical, CFD, Electromagnetics, and Multiphysics.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of consultative B2B sales experience, preferably in technical software (e.g., Altair, Siemens, Dassault Systèmes, COMSOL, Simerics, Autodesk)
  • Strong understanding of engineering or product development processes
  • Proven success selling into complex environments with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong C-level and VP-level relationships in large organizations
  • Commercial acumen, with the ability to build value-based proposals and negotiate enterprise agreements
  • Fluent in both a Nordic language and English
  • Comfortable traveling frequently across the Nordics and occasionally to Manchester, UK (Simulation Centre of Excellence HQ)

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Prior experience with Ansys or competitive simulation platforms (e.g., COMSOL, STAR-CCM+, Altair)
  • Background in engineering or technical sales consultancy
  • Experience with enterprise licensing, digital twin solutions, or multiphysics workflows
  • Understanding of digital transformation, sustainability trends, and their intersection with simulation
