Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Advisor (Simulation Technology) in the Centre for Innovation in Medical Education, Karachi, Pakistan. Responsibilities: Specifically, you will be responsible to: lead the planning, implementation, and optimization of simulation technologies and infrastructure at CIME. oversee day-to-day technical services, ensuring reliability and smooth delivery of simulation activities. supervise and guide the technical team, including task allocation and performance management design, implement, and maintain simulation systems, including simulators, AV setups, and digital platforms provide technical support during simulation sessions, assessments (e.g., OSCEs), and training activities develop and enforce technical SOPs, protocols, and quality standards train faculty and staff on the effective use of simulation technologies collaborate with faculty to align simulation design with curricular and learning objectives support strategic technology initiatives, including system upgrades and new implementations monitor and report on technology performance, utilization, and improvement opportunities collaborate closely with administration, education, IT, and biomedical teams to ensure cross-functional integration and alignment with operational objectives support evaluation and continuous improvement of simulation-based education through innovation and research Requirements: You should have: a minimum of Master’s degree in Science or Management-related field certification in Healthcare Simulation (e.g., CHSOS) is desirable a minimum of five years’ experience in the relevant field proficient knowledge of IT or Biomedical technologies experience within hospital, academic, or research facilities will be an added advantage ability to multitask and work under pressure excellent analytical skills and attention to detail strong communication and negotiation skills with ability to work in teams demonstrated leadership capabilities with ability to foster credibility and trust demonstrates competencies at Advisor level across 20 core clinical simulation competencies for CIME.
