Description:
The Lufthansa Aviation Training Pilot Academy GmbH in Rostock-Laage is a renowned training center that accompanies Lufthansa Group pilots during their approximately 24-month training journey.
We are seeking a committed Simulator and Aircraft Maintenance Assistant to effectively and enthusiastically assist our Technical staff in upholding the highest standards for our fleet maintenance.
Tasks
- Responsible for daily operational readiness of training equipment
- Contact person and first level support for our flight instructors
- Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of the FNPT devices to ensure they are in good working condition
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing any technical issues or malfunctions with the training devices
- Repairing or replacing faulty components or parts within the training devices
- Calibrating and evaluating the performance of the training devices to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Keeping detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed on the training devices
- Following safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks
- Collaborating with other technicians and engineers to address complex maintenance issues
REQUIREMENTS
- Secondary education, technical education with focus on: Electrical engineering, Electronics, Mechatronic, Aircraft electronics or comparable with several years of professional experience.
- Ability to work in a team, flexible and resilient, ready for shift work (first/second)
- Analytical thinking
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Proficiency in English is required for this role
- Knowledge of German language is desired but not mandatory
- Willingness to travel
- Driver’s license
- Ability to obtain a security clearance (ZUP)
