This is a hands-on role where you’ll work on the assembly, testing, and preparation of our simulators, supporting the wider engineering team in delivering high-quality products to clients globally. You’ll also help us keep our custom-built purchasing and stock management system up to date – handling stock takes, ordering, and ensuring parts are always ready for upcoming builds.

Key Responsibilities:
Build & Assembly
Build and assemble both full simulators, component parts and sub-assemblies, including cabling, soldering, motion platforms and PC setups.
Support prototype builds and custom simulator projects from start to finish.
Use hand tools and basic machining techniques to produce high-quality work.
Documentation & Quality Control
Document and maintain technical documentation, build processes/ records ensuring the continual improvement of engineering processes.
Ability to optimize and streamline existing workshop processes, implementing best practices and driving continuous improvement, including updating and producing new build manuals where required.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop.
Stock Management & Purchasing Support
Conduct regular stock management – conducting regular stock takes, updating our custom purchasing system, and raising orders for parts.
Software Integration
Install and configure simulator software, set up telemetry tools, calibrate motion platforms and steering systems.
Testing & Calibration
Test, diagnose, and maintain simulators both in-house and on client sites, using data analysis tools and customer feedback to refine simulator setups.
Customer support
Assist in providing technical support to clients both remotely and on-site, including client installations, training and general maintenance support.
Package and prepare simulators for delivery and installation.
