Description

OVERVIEW

Little Voices in the East Midlands region is growing! Little Voices Nottingham and Loughborough opened the doors in August 2025 with popular Theatre workshops and is launching weekly classes in two locations from September: Toton and Kegworth. I’m looking for passionate and energetic performing arts teachers to join me in developing and growing my business. Opportunities are available for Assistant tutors, Cover tutors and as the business grows, there will be the opportunity to take on more responsibilities and the potential to increase hours, if desired.
Our classes run on Mondays at Kegworth Village Hall, 4-6pm and at Greenwood Community Centre Toton on Thursdays 4-6.30pm. Candidates can specify if they are available for cover for one or both locations. Candidates can also specify if they are available Mon-Fri for after-school clubs, 3pm onwards.
Recruiting for singing/Musical Theatre cover tutors at both locations, with the potential for additional work at regular after-school clubs.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Ideally looking for someone with a qualification in the field of performing arts at degree level with teaching experience. However, if you have a passion for Musical Theatre/Drama/Singing and working with young people but not qualified to degree level, please do still apply. The tutors’ characteristics and ability to teach and connect with our pupils is more important than their education journey.
  • Experience with the LAMDA examination process is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided if necessary.
  • A fun, caring & warm personality
  • Able to build a good rapport with children
  • Creatively inspiring - whether you’re a great singer or actor, a talented musician, a comic, or someone who simply has lots of wonderful ideas!
  • Passionate, motivated & high-energy - able to ‘lift’ pupils at the end of a busy school day!
  • Organised - with the ability to follow a syllabus, set clear learning outcomes & plan a good lesso
