POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Singing Teacher / Supervisor to lead an after-school Singing / Glee Club at a primary school in Swindon. This role offers the opportunity to inspire children through singing, helping them develop vocal skills, confidence, teamwork, and a love of music in a fun and supportive environment.
The club runs for one hour per week, day and time to be confirmed, giving children a weekly opportunity to explore singing, learn songs, and perform together.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Experience teaching or leading singing or choral sessions for children.
• Ability to engage and motivate children in a structured, fun, and musical way.
• Strong communication skills in English for interacting with children, parents, and school staff.
• A background in music education, vocal training, or performing arts is highly desirable.

• Lead and supervise children during singing sessions in a safe and encouraging environment.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that develop vocal technique, rhythm, and musical expression.
• Encourage creativity, self-expression, confidence, and teamwork.
• Communicate effectively with parents and school staff about children’s progress.
• Ensure the rehearsal space and any equipment are safe, organized, and ready for use.
