POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and engaging Singing Tutor to lead an after-school Singing Club at a primary school located 20 minutes from Reading. This role provides the opportunity to inspire children through singing, helping them develop confidence, musical skills, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment.
The club runs for one hour per week, 3:30pm – 4:30pm, on either Wednesday or Thursday, giving children a weekly chance to enjoy singing and build their performance skills.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Experience teaching or leading singing sessions for children.
• Ability to motivate and engage children in a structured, fun, and creative way.
• Strong communication skills in English for interacting with children, parents, and school staff.
• A background in music education is highly desirable.

• Lead and supervise children during singing activities, creating a safe and encouraging environment.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate sessions that develop vocal skills, confidence, and creativity.
• Encourage teamwork, self-expression, and enthusiasm for music.
• Maintain clear communication with parents and school staff about children’s progress.
• Ensure the rehearsal space and equipment are safe, organized, and ready for use.
