Requirements Requirements: Assist in loading trucks from stored Railcars containing polyethylene and polypropylene pellets. Verify Railcar numbers to insure the driver is loading from the correct Railcar. Inspect the trailers to insure they are clean, dry, and odor free. Fill out documents for shipping and input data into the computer for tracking shipments. Pull samples of product for the shipper and the customer. Insure proper Protective clothing and equipment are worn at all times by all personal while in the Rail Yard. Follow all Safety and loading procedures.
Responsibilities
The SIT Yard Operator is responsible for assisting in loading trucks from stored railcars and verifying railcar numbers. They must ensure safety and compliance with loading procedures while maintaining effective communication with team members.
