Description Department: Urethane Systems Direct Supervisor: Head of Business Line Americas FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act): Exempt Working time: Full Time - Hybrid JOB SUMMARY Responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement and accounts payable processes, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of a wide range of goods and services for general operations and lab functions. This role involves vendor management, contract administration, and utilizing SAP and Ariba systems to maintain operational efficiency and compliance. In addition this role will also act as the executive assistant to the regional President providing high-level administrative and organizational support to the business with a particular focus on supporting alignment across commercial activities and leadership priorities. A strong work ethic, communication skills, a desire to enable business success, and resilience to manage continual pressure and changing priorities are essential to the role. Requirements Technical Job Requirements: Provide administrative functions as required (Procurement, SAP, interaction with Purchasing groups, invoice payment, SAP, interaction with accounting groups, purchase Order Creation, Ariba purchasing, Fiori functions). Non-chemical stockroom functions – procurement support. SAP Functions for STO (Stock Transfer Order) and Chemical shipping support. Laboratory Notebook administration. Vendor management including contracts for office supplies. Site visitor coordination including hospitality. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Regional President, including calendar management, travel coordination, expense reporting, and meeting logistics. Coordinate leadership meetings, operating reviews, and commercial planning sessions, including agenda preparation, materials distribution, and follow-up notes. Draft, edit, and format correspondence, presentations, and internal communications as needed. Maintain organized records of decisions, communications, and key documents. Help ensure consistent communication and alignment across sales, marketing, and operations by supporting meeting cadence and information flow. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Education, High School or equivalent. 5+ Years of required experience in related industry. Practical knowledge of SAP Software. Experience working with relevant tools. Practical computer literacy. Strong organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: SAP expert preferred. Post high school education a plus. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs a plus. Ability to stand for 30 minutes. While performing the duties of the job, the staff member is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The staff member is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to pick-up, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The staff member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. The position requires vision abilities such as close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment (open plan office) is usually moderate. The staff member may be required to travel for business and needs to have a valid driver’s license as well as being able to fly with well-known airlines.
