Job Description Kanadevia Inova are hiring an experienced Site and Facilities Assistant to join our construction project team to support on the construction of the MVV Medworth Energy from Waste facility, based in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. This position is offered on a 2 year fixed term permanent contract basis, with the start date of 05.01.2026 until 04.01.2028. Due to the nature and responsibilities of the role, you would be required to be based on the site for 100% of your working hours, so this role would likely be more suited to those living locally or within an easy commute to the site. The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to: Acting as the office administrator for the site including managing office supplies, filing, organization of travel, recording and storing of documentation Acting as the Facilities Assistant - maintaining the overall operation and upkeep of the site compound, ensuring all facilities are safe, clean, and fully functional. Supporting daily site activities, including managing utilities, coordinating maintenance tasks, and assisting with general site logistics. Providing full administrative support to the Site Manager. Welcome visitors and clients including arranging catering as required Provide full administrative support to the Site Manager. Keep the Site Manager informed of all site related activities. Be aware of all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) requirements relevant to their role, and implement and comply with them. Please note that this list is indicative, not exhaustive, and additional responsibilities will be assigned as needed. You must already have the legal right to work in the UK. Qualifications Professional Qualifications Strong administrative experience, ideally from within Construction or Engineering industries Comfortable working in a site based environment, experience would be ideal in this regard Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications Basic diploma or equivalent in office administration (desirable) Personal Qualifications Solution orientated Good forward planner Ability to present ideas effectively Strong communicator, fluent in English, other languages an advantage Ability to work with limited supervision and manage your own workload Additional Information Salary £30-£35,000 per annum, dependent on relevant experience Pension up to10% employer contribution, life assurance 4x salary, disability insurance Private medical and dental insurance 24 days annual leave per annum Team-oriented working atmosphere in an international Company For HR agencies: Please note that we do not accept applications coming from agencies.
