Description POSITION OVERVIEW: The Site Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in the management of a clinical area, supporting the Administrative Manager and ensuring efficient and effective care delivery. Key responsibilities include staffing, resource allocation, policy development, and performance management, all while ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assisting with creating and maintaining staffing schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet patient needs, and managing the allocation of resources within the clinical area Contributing to the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and to promote best practices Evaluating staff performance, providing feedback and coaching, and participating in performance appraisals Identifying and addressing issues related to patient care and quality, and participating in quality improvement initiatives Maintaining effective communication with staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, and collaborating on patient care plans Managing administrative tasks, such as scheduling, preparing reports, and managing records Identifying staff educational needs and providing training opportunities Ensuring appropriate and timely reporting of incidents and accidents Ordering and ensuring appropriate par levels for office and medical supplies Ensuring appropriate credentials to all medical software systems are created and maintained for all team members Coordination of building maintenance tickets and building access are granted and maintained for the location(s) Assisting in the coordination of legal and IME Ensuring accuracy on daily cash deposits Coordinating the incoming and outgoing mail and faxes within the location(s) Other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: 2-3 years of work experience in clinical administrative operations, orthopedics preferred Strong analytical skills Exhibit progressive professional development Demonstrates flexibility and reliability Ability to prioritize and problem solve Ability to relate well to patients, families, co-workers, and physicians Exceptional communication skills, both written & verbal WORKING CONDITIONS: Typical clinical office and exam/procedure room environment Possible exposure to communicable diseases and other conditions common to clinical settings Frequent standing, typing, moussing, and reading paper and electronic documents Ability to file and track documents and data, both in written and electronic form Able to frequently stoop, lift carry and push/pull 15 pounds and occasionally up to 30 pounds
