SUMMARY

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Construction Site Assistant to support daily operations at our job site. This is not an entry-level position — the ideal candidate will have hands-on construction knowledge, be comfortable operating basic machinery, and be mature enough to work independently and take ownership of their tasks.
You will play a key role in keeping the site safe, organized, and efficient.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1–2 years of construction or site experience
  • Familiarity with basic site machinery and construction tools
  • Valid G-class driver’s license
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work without constant supervision
  • Ability to communicate clearly with site managers and team members
  • Working-at-Heights certificate is a strong asset
  • Basic tech skills for daily reporting (Google Sheets).

Responsibilities
  • Operate basic machinery (Bobcat, Gini lift, riding lawnmower, etc.)
  • Assist with general construction tasks, including framing and hands-on labor
  • Perform regular maintenance and safety checks on site equipment and vehicles (e.g., oil changes, van maintenance)
  • Maintain and organize construction inventory and tools
  • Coordinate supply runs (e.g., to Home Depot) using company van
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed and contribute to maintaining a hazard-free environment
  • Update daily site reports and documentation via Google Sheets
  • Support site coordination and follow up on work progress
  • Take initiative to inspect and manage on-site details independently
