Site Assistant
Grade 3, SCP 6-11, £25,989 – £28,142
36.66 hours per week, Full Year (Shift times will mainly be between 12 noon and 8 pm but may vary on occasions depending on need)
Saddleworth School is looking to appoint a proactive individual to be a Site Assistant, supporting the Site Manager and staff team in our new school building.
The post of Site Assistant will play a key role in ensuring our new state of the art school operates seamlessly and that the buildings and grounds we provide for our children and staff are well cared for and something we all take great pride in. You will form part of a talented and committed staff that is supporting the development of its ethos, and embedding that in the community of the school and having the benefit of a new building with all new facilities and supported by a local, successful and experienced Trust.

  • An individual committed to ambition, excellence and community who will work with the staff body to support the ambitions and aims of Saddleworth School to become an outstanding provider for young people and a school where staff, who are committed and ambitious for young people, take pride in and enjoy their work.
  • An individual able to build relationships and rapport with school staff, students and contractors as well as communicating directly with relevant external organisations. Excellent planning, communication and listening skills are key.

This position will be based at Saddleworth School, Oldham, but may from time to time require travel as necessary to collaborate with other schools which are all locally based.
