• Site Supervision & Technical Oversight: Supervise and inspect all civil and structural work on renovation and fit-out projects, including but not limited to: masonry, blockworks, plastering, waterproofing, and any structural modifications or repairs.
• Layout & As-Built Surveys: Conduct precise field layout for partitions, openings, and key interior elements. Perform detailed as-built surveys of existing conditions to inform design and construction.
• Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure all site work complies with approved Dubai Municipality regulations, DM approval drawings, and company quality standards. Identify and rectify any deviations immediately.
• Design Coordination: Liaise with the design team and consultants to resolve technical discrepancies on site. Review architectural and MEP drawings for conflicts and propose practical solutions.
• Project Documentation: Prepare and manage crucial site documents, including:
• Daily and weekly progress reports.
• Material submittals for civil items (e.g., concrete, blocks, grout, waterproofing) for client/consultant approval.
• Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Inspection Requests (IRs) for Dubai Municipality and consultant approvals.
• Shop Drawings: Review and approve shop drawings related to civil works, ensuring they are feasible and align with site conditions.
• Coordination: Work closely with Project Managers, MEP teams, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of civil works with other fit-out activities (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, ceilings, etc.).
• Health & Safety: Strictly enforce all company and UAE health and safety policies on site. Conduct toolbox talks and participate in safety audits.
