WEM has a rewarding opportunity for aCivil Site Engineerto join the team.

We have a solid portfolio of work with multiple projects underway across Sydney's Northwest and Southwest, Hunter, and Illawarra regions.

This role requires travel to job sites across the area, predominantly in the Northwest & Southwest region.

The Site Engineer is responsible for assisting and working with the Site Team (Site Manager, Project Manager, Supervisor and Surveyor) to help achieve successful delivery of the project.

The Engineer is also responsible for liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding the project, including but not limited to; clients, council, inspectors, superintendents, designers, and the general public.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilise your thorough understanding of drawings, specifications and quality, WHS, and environmental requirements for all site-related activities.

Support the implementation of the project quality, WHS and environmental management plans on all projects.

Assist with daily project monitoring for toolbox inspections, checklists, documentation, and record keeping.

Assist with the monitoring and updating of the construction program and site activity.

Ensure materials are procured in advance of the construction program.

Assist in monitoring daily work activities to maximise the utilisation of plant and resources.

Implement improvements for managing site-related costs.

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or working towards
