WE’RE HIRING: CIVIL ENGINEER

Location: UAE
Safety World Group, established in 1993, is a leading provider of MEP installations, passive fire protection, active fire systems, and technical contracting services across Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the successful execution of various construction projects.
As a Civil Engineer, you will be instrumental in the planning, design, and oversight of civil works, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage civil construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Conduct site investigations, surveys, and assessments to gather data for design and construction.
  • Prepare, review, and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documents.
  • Ensure all civil works comply with local regulations, building codes (including Dubai Municipality codes), and international engineering standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project integration and execution.
  • Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to design, quality control, and safety protocols.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions.
  • Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
  • Prepare progress reports, quality reports, and other necessary project documentation.
  • Conduct quality checks and inspections on materials and workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in tendering processes, including estimation and technical bid evaluations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (UAE attested is mandatory.).
  • Minimum 2 years of UAE working experience in a civil engineering role, preferably within the construction sector.
  • Valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License is mandatory.
  • Candidates must be currently available in the UAE and ready to attend face-to-face interviews.
  • Dubai/any other emirates Municipality Engineer License preferred.
  • Proficiency in both English and Hindi/Arabic/Urdu is mandatory for effective communication with a diverse workforce and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and project management.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, structural analysis software if applicable).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various teams and external parties.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
