Job Description Main Responsibilities Supervise and manage all civil construction activities on site, with a strong focus on pile foundations and solar PV plant infrastructure, including equipment foundations, inverter/transformer bases, cable trenches, access roads, drainage systems, and fencing. Oversee contractors’ daily site activities to ensure full compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements. Review, evaluate, and approve civil method statements, ITPs, and shop drawings, particularly related to piling works and PV-related civil structures. Coordinate and witness inspections, testing activities, and pile load tests; ensure timely closure of non-conformities. Track construction progress, identify site issues or clashes, and prepare daily and weekly progress reports for the Project Manager. Coordinate closely with electrical and PV teams, HSE personnel, and the EPC contractor to resolve site constraints and maintain project schedules. Qualifications Profile & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum 7–10 years of experience in civil works supervision, with proven hands-on experience in pile foundation works and solar PV / renewable energy projects. Experience in industrial, power, or energy projects is mandatory. Prior GCC / Oman project experience is a strong advantage. Solid knowledge of international construction codes, piling standards, and site QA/QC procedures. Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills in English. Available for short-notice mobilization to Sohar, Oman. Full-time on-site role in Sohar for 4 months, with a possibility of extension.
